Pittsburgh-Area Man Charged In Toddler's Death
Emmanuel Dennis caused serious, physical abuse to a 2-year-old child, authorities said.

UNIONTOWN, PA ? A Uniontown man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 2-year-old child, the Fayette County District Attorney's Office said Tuesday.
Emmanuel Dennis, 33, is charged with criminal homicide; aggravated assault - attempt to cause serious bodily injury; aggravated assault - victim is less than 13 and defendant is 18 or older; and endangering the welfare of children.
Dennis is being held in the county jail without bond. He faces a preliminary hearing on Nov. 5, according to court documents.

According to the district attorney's office, Margaret Dunn died as the result of serious physical abuse by Dennis.
Pennsylvania State Police responded to a Manallen Township residence Monday for a child having a medical emergency. Margaret was taken to Uniontown Hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival.

The coroner's office has not released a cause of death. The investigation is ongoing; anyone with information is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police - Uniontown or the district attorney's office.
