Pittsburgh-Area Supermarket Sells $5M Mega Millions Winner

McCANDLESS, PA - The Giant Eagle in McIntyre Square off of McKnight Road sold a winning Mega Millions lottery ticket worth $5 million on Tuesday, Pennsylvania Lottery officials announced.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 10-50-55-56-58, but not the yellow Mega Ball 15, to win $5 million, less applicable withholding.It was sold with the $1 Megaplier option, which boosted the prize to $5million instead of $1 million, because the multiplier drawn was five.

The Giant Eagle sore will receive a $10,000 selling bonus for selling the winning ticket.

If you have the winning ticket, you should sign it, call the lottery office at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office. Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions prizes expire one year from the drawing date.
