Pittsburgh Convenience Stores Now Offering Vodka Soda

ALTOONA, PA ? Sheetz is unveiling two new vodka sodas - Shpiked Peach Ringz and a higher-proofed version of Shpiiiked Peach Ringz.

Both drinks will hit the shelves at Sheetz stores on Tuesday. The beverages also will be available at PNC Park.

?Summer is here and we couldn?t be more excited to kick this season off by releasing these bright, bubbly, peach-packed vodka sodas to our customers,? Ryan Sheetz, Sheetz executive vice president of marketing and supply chain, said in a statement.

Sheetz and Slushed Brands have partnered to create the vodka soda. Mixed with peach gummy rings and distilled premium vodka, the drinks are lightly carbonated. Shpiked Peach Ringz features a 5 percent alcohol by volume content, while Shpiiiked Peach Ringz has a 8 percent alcohol by volume content.

Single 16-ounce cans of both drinks will retail for $2.19 and six-pack 12-ounce cans will retail for $11.99 at Sheetz?s stores. Single 19-ounce cans of Shpiiiked Peach Ringz will sell for $11.99 at PNC Park.
