Pittsburgh International Airport Adds 5 New Summer Travel Routes
United will provide four of the new routes, with Southwest initiating the other.

PITTSBURGH, PA — United Airlines will begin offering four new destinations from Pittsburgh International Airport beginning Memorial Day weekend. The carrier will provide nonstop flights to Pensacola, FL; Portland, ME; and Charleston and Hilton Head, both in South Carolina.
This will be the first time Pensacola and Hilton Head have been on the airport's route map, according to Blue Sky News, the airport's information website.
Additionally, Southwest Airlines is adding another destination in South Carolina, Myrtle Beach. Southwest will begin Saturday nonstop service to Myrtle Beach in late May, with service increasing to five times weekly beginning in early June.
