Pittsburgh Spring Thing: Expect Warm Weather Soon
The cold weather will soon be gone in Pittsburgh, perhaps until next fall.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The groundhog was accurate in February, as that month clearly showed winter's brutal effect in Pittsburgh. But after one of the snowiest winter seasons in recent history, it appears that spring is on the way.
After a cold weekend, next week's temperatures are expected to be in the 50s and 60s.
Despite feeling like winter now and over the next few days, it's Meteorological Spring and warmer weather is in the forecast. But yinz don't fret, winter will be back in just 272 days. #PAwx #Pittsburgh #Spring pic.twitter.com/zj4tja3u9s
