Pittsburgh Uber Driver Shot To Death
Kristofer Metzger, 35, died of multiple gunshot wounds, city police said.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A Pittsburgh Uber driver was shot and killed over the weekend in the city's Sheraden section. Kristofer Metzger, 35, a Pennsylvania Army National Guard veteran, was pronounced dead from multiple gunshot wounds in his vehicle on Zephyr Street early Saturday, according to the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department.
Police have not identified any suspects.
His brother, Stephen Metzger, has established a GoFundMe page to benefit Mr. Metzger's wife and child.

"Kris was a smart, funny, and caring man who was the life of the party wherever he went," Stephen Metzger wrote.
"He made instant friends with anyone and everyone he met. He never judged anyone and brought joy and love to all he knew. There will be a noticeable void in the world with his absence.

"We are all still in shock and grieving from our loss but it doesn't compare to the loss that his wife Davida and daughter Peyton are feeling. The last thing we would want them to worry about is the finances and hardship that his loss will be sure to bring to them. We are reaching out to family and
friends to help with some of his final expenses, and if possible to help relieve some of the financial strain his wife Davida will face during this devastating time."
