Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Effect For Pittsburgh, Western PA
The region is expecting severe weather this afternoon.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m. for Pittsburgh, western Pennsylvania and portions of Ohio and West Virginia. Winds of up to 70 mph an hour are possible, as well as quarter-sized hail. Frequent lightning also is expected.
Flooding is possible later tonight and into Thursday.
