Sheetz Embarking On Massive Hiring Spree
The convenience store chain is hiring nearly 3,000 new workers.
PENNSYLVANIA — Sheetz is about to add about 3,000 new employees, including approximately 1,200 in Pennsylvania. The convenience store is holding a hiring day on Wednesday at all of its locations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Masks and social distancing are required and prospective employees will be checked-in at the front register and asked to wait until their interview time.
The hiring initiative comes as Sheetz has invested $28.5 million in increased store employee wages. The company also also recently announced an updated parental leave policy which includes 12 weeks of fully paid time off for new mothers and two weeks for partners.
