Steelers Again Unable To Hold Training Camp In Latrobe
The team announced Thursday that for the second straight year, it won't have training camp activities at St. Vincent College.

PITTSBURGH, PA — For the second straight year, Steelers fans will not be able to watch the team's training camp activities at St. Vincent College in Latrobe. The team announced Thursday that camp once again will be held at Heinz Field and its South Side practice facility.
The announcement is sure to dishearten thousands of Steelers fans who are used to making the trek to the Westmoreland County college to watch the players practice and obtain autographs. That’s especially true after Steelers owner Art Rooney II said recently he was hopeful camp would occur there.
"We are disappointed we won't be holding our 2021 Training Camp at Saint Vincent College," Steelers spokesperson Burt Lauten in a statement on the team's website. "We were prepared to safely host Training Camp on campus with fans, but unfortunately our plan was not approved due to the NFL's COVID-19 protocols.
