Steelers Uniforms Rank Among NFL's Best: USA Today

PITTSBURGH, PA — The classic Pittsburgh Steelers uniform, which has undergone few changes in decades, was rated among the best in the NFL in USA Today's annual ranking of pro football team attire.

The Steelers ranked third, behind only the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders.

Here is what USA Today had to say about the Steelers uniforms:

"The black and gold are perfectly complementary and scream Pittsburgh. And they feature a signature twist, the trio of hypocycloids in the logo – a callback to the Steelmark symbol used by the American Iron and Steel Institute – featured only on the helmet's right side. Also, their all-black alternates just drip."

The Steelers had by far the highest-ranking uniform among the NFC North rivals. The Cincinnati Bengals were 17th, the Baltimore Ravens were 27th and the Cleveland Browns were 28th.
