These Pittsburgh Restaurants, Bars Debuted In First Half Of 2021

You might be surprised at how many new drinking and dining establishments have opened in and around Pittsburgh since January.

PITTSBURGH, PA — More than 20 new restaurants and bars opened in the Pittsburgh area during the first six months of the year. That's an impressive number considering many coronavirus-related restrictions on eateries and taverns remained in place for much of that time.

Despite the financial risks involved in opening any business amid a pandemic, what follows is a list of establishments have opened their doors to diners and drinkers since January. It's a non-inclusive list, so if there is a place Patch has overlooked, please mention it in the comments section.
