Three-Year-Old Greenfield Bridge Defective, Closing For Repairs
The span, which opened in October 2017, requires a deck replacement.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Greenfield Bridge over the Parkway East, which opened in October 2017, will close Monday for at least a month.
The span, a key link between Greenfield and Schenley Park, will be closed so the deck can be replaced, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. The replacement will occur at no cost to the city, according to city officials.
The new bridge opened two years after the old bridge was demolished.
