PITTSBURGH, PA — When Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was a 6-year-old boy, the certain Hall-of-Famer had his name used by another all-time great quarterback: Pittsburgh Steeler Terry Bradshaw.

Quirky Research on Wednesday unearthed an old United Press International story from 1983 that detailed Bradshaw using the name "Thomas Brady" when he checked into a Louisiana hospital to undergo elbow surgery.

"Many times, we have to admit people under an assumed name or under no name to keep the press and the fans away," hospital administrator Charles Boyd was quoted as saying at the time.
