West Mifflin Man Held On Rape, Assault Charges
A West Mifflin man has been accused of raping and assaulting a McKeesport woman
WEST MIFFLIN, PA — A man is awaiting arraignment on charges that include aggravated assault,
kidnapping, rape, and false imprisonment.
West Mifflin Police on Thursday responded to multiple calls for a woman being held against her will in a residence in the 1400 block of Maryland Avenue. According to Allegheny County police, officers saw Demetrius Pirl, 51, pull a woman back into the residence from the front door.

The victim, a 33-year-old McKeesport woman, was transported to an area hospital where she received treatment for injuries to include abrasions.
