Boyce Park Ski Slopes Opening

The ski season is underway at the Allegheny County park.

PLUM BOROUGH, PA - It hasn’t snowed much yet in Pittsburgh, but the Boyce Park ski slopes will open Friday with a base of 18 to 48 inches of snow, Allegheny County officials announced.

The park has 20 acres worth of slopes and trails for skiing and snowboarding. Five snow tube lanes with 24 to 48 inches of snow will open Friday at 4:30 p.m.

The slopes will be open from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on weekdays and 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 pm. And 4 p.m to 9:30 p.m. on weekends. To check snow conditions, call 724-733-4665; for general information, call 724-733-4656.
