Enter the Pittsburgh 60 Strong Calendar Contest
Celebrate Life After 60! Nominate an Inspirational Senior Between ages 60 and 69 by July 31

You, or someone you know, could be featured in the 2020 Pittsburgh 60 Strong calendar, an exclusive calendar that highlights area events, entertainment and activities, and serves as a roadmap to good health. A panel of celebrity judges will select 12 winners who exemplify how life after sixty can be a vibrant and active time. In addition to appearing in the Pittsburgh 60 Strong calendar, winners will receive “celebrity treatment” with a professional photo shoot and compensation for their modeling time.
Anyone age 18 or older can nominate a friend or family member between ages 60 and 69 who has achieved remarkable levels of fitness, pursued a new hobby or is devoted to helping those in need. The candidate you admire might be raising money for a charity, fighting a chronic condition or caring for someone who is.

- Log on to www.Pittsburgh60strong.com to submit an application form, 200-400 word essay about your candidate, head shot and full-length photo by Wednesday, July 31, 2019. · Or download an application form at www.Pittsburgh60strong.com and mail the completed form, along with a 200-400 word essay, head-shot and full-length photo to: Pittsburgh 60 Strong Contest, c/o PPCP, Manor Oak 2 Building, Suite 490, 1910 Cochran Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15220. The entry must be postmarked by Monday, July 29, 2019.
- Candidates must be between ages of 60 and 69 on Sept. 1, 2019, and a resident of the Pittsburgh area, including the following counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland. Contestants are judged on their health/fitness/wellness, community involvement, volunteerism and how they are inspirational to others. The winners will be featured on the calendar at Pittsburgh-area landmarks; treated to a professional photo shoot and party; and compensated for their time as a “model.”
Those who nominate winning candidates will also be winners! They will receive a $50 gift certificate to be used at area establishments.
Pittsburgh 60 Strong is a public service program sponsored by Preferred Primary Care Physicians (PPCP). All proceeds from the calendar will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of Patty Lukach, a beloved PPCP employee who passed away from acute myeloid leukemia in 2018.
