PLUM BOROUGH, PA - Police on Friday charged a man with entering a Plum resident’s home Thursday morning and shooting a man in the legs. Malik Hawkins, 21, has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, burglary, weapons violations and recklessly endangering another person.
The shooting occurred around 11:30 a.m. at a home in the 7700 block of Saltsburg Road, according to Allegheny County Police. Police and paramedics who responded found an unidentified 22-year-old man with gunshot wounds to both legs. He is being treated at a local hospital.
