Man Sentenced For Fatal DUI Crash That Killed Two
The 2017 accident occurred on Route 286 in Plum.
PLUM, PA - An Indiana County man convicted of two counts of homicide by vehicle while DUO was sentenced Tuesday to seven-to-14 years in prison, according to the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office. Edward Cass of Saltsburg also was sentenced to seven years of probation.
In August 2017, Cass slammed into a vehicle on Route 286 in Plum near Pine Valley Plaza. The driver of the vehicle, Beth Beveridge, 43, and a passenger, Michael Zier, 17, were killed. Beveridge's daughter survived the accident.
