Oaks Theater To Show "Groundog Day," Serve Lunch On Groundhog Day

Is there a better way than to spend the only holiday honoring a rodent than by watching its namesake movie?

OAKMONT, PA - Sure, you probably have seen the Bill Murray comedic classic "Groundhog Day" on many occasions. But there have been few times since it's initial release in 1993 that the opportunity arises to see it again on the big screen.

The opportunity will occur Sunday at the Oaks Theater, where you can see the movie after enjoying a tasty lunch. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the movie will begin at noon.

If you're one of the few people who don't know the plot, weatherman Phil Connors (Murray) isn't fond of spending the day in Punxsutawney with his producer Rita (Andie MacDowell) covering the local Groundhog Day celebrations. Then he wakes up and discovers he has to relive it again. Repeatedly. The movie attempts to answer the question of what someone would do if they had to relive the same day over and over again.
