Obituary - Valerie M. Drennen

Valerie M. Drennen, of New Kensington (formerly of Springdale and Cheswick), passed away at the age of 52, on Monday, March 4, 2013, in her residence. 

Valerie was born in Pittsburgh on March 30, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Mallory and Betty (White) Drennen; loving mother of Jared (Jeanette) Drennen of the South Hills and Joshua Drennen of New Kensington.  Val was one of 6 siblings being the only daughter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George Drennen. 

Valerie was a Penn Hills High School graduate, enjoyed crocheting, and was a former paramedic for Lower Valley Ambulance.  A celebration of Val’s life will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Parnassus Manor where she resided, (325 Main Street, New Kensington, 15068) with the Rev. Jeffrey O’Brien officiating.
