Find out here when the Plum band will perform at the annual parade.

PLUM, PA - If you're planning one final Kennywood visit before the school year starts, you might want to go to the West Mifflin amusement park on Aug. 19. The Plum High School marching band will be one of the bands marching in the 70th year of Kennywood's Fall Fantasy Parades.
Plum will be among the 150 marching bands from high schools and colleges throughout southwestern Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio that will fill Kennywood’s midways with
live music during nightly parades from Aug. 3 through Aug. 20.
Fall Fantasy began in the 1950 as an effort to boost attendance in August, generally the slowest period of the season. Today, with anywhere from four to 12 bands and their fans visiting during the 18-day stretch, Fall Fantasy is one of the busiest events of the summer.

“Fall Fantasy has become a wonderful tradition for Kennywood and our local communities,”
Kennywood general manager Jerome Gibas. “The parades serve as one last chance to soak up summer before the school year begins and see the region’s talented young people take center stage.”
Visitors to Kennywood during can Fall Fantasy can expect to see lions, tigers, bears, and both Kenny and Parker, oh, my! This year’s theme is “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," based on L.
