Plum Borough School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Plum Borough is August 29. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Plum Borough School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 11/23 - 11/27: No School (Thanksgiving)

• 12/22 - 12/29: No School (Winter Break, Snow Make-Up Day 12/22)

January

• 1/1 - 1/2: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/15: No School (MLK Day)
• 1/22: Early Dismissal (9 Weeks End)

February

• 2/19: No School (Presidents' Day)
• 2/20: No School (Snow Make-Up Day)

March

• 3/28: Early Dismissal (9 Weeks End)
• 3/29 - 3/30: No School (Spring Break, Snow Make-Up Day 3/29)

April
