Plum Man Gets Probation In 3-Year-Old Daughter's Drowning Death
The girl was found in the family swimming pool last August.
PLUM, PA - A Plum man has been sentenced to five years on probation in connection with the drowning death of his three-year-old daughter last summer. Charles Mitchell, 28, was sentenced after pleading guilty to a child endangerment charge, according to court records.
Last August, Ca-Nayah Mitchell was found at the bottom of a swimming pool at the family's Ridgewood Court home.She was taken to Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville where she was pronounced dead.
Mitchell allegedly left Ca-Nayah and her four-year-old brother alone for several minutes, according to court paperwork.
