Plum Man Pleads Guilty To Heroin, Fentanyl, Cocaine Charges

PLUM, PA - A Plum man has pleaded guilty in federal court to heroin, fentanyl and cocaine trafficking-related charges. Brandon Winters, 43, pleaded guilt to conspiring to possess with intent to distribute on kilogram or more of heroin and 400 grams or more of fentanyl and one count of possessing with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine.

In January, the FBI and state police executed a search warrant at a Pittsburgh apartment used by Winters and alleged co-conspirators Eduard Rijo and Erick Mrick Martin. Agents found approximately 1,500 bricks containing mixtures of heroin and fentanyl and more than 500 grams of cocaine. Agents also seized more than $250,000 in cash.

Winters will be sentenced in February. He faces a 10 years-to-life sentence and fines of up to $10 million.
