Plum

Plum School District is accepting applications for an elementary paraprofessional position. 

The position is available immediately and provides district-wide aide services to students in an assigned school location. The paraprofessional reports directly to the building administrator or designee.

The position is full-time, 35 hours per week and the hourly rate is $14.

Minimum Requirements: 

Earned Associate’s Degree or a minimum of 48 college credits completed at an accredited institution; able to be trained in CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications; ability to work independently and cooperatively; excellent verbal and written skills in communicating with diverse audiences. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities: 

Services include, but are not limited to, operating office equipment, use of computer applications and software, ability to follow prescribed written and verbal directions and work as a member of a team. Must be courteous and service-oriented, cooperative, congenial and work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions.

Must be able to speak clearly, read thoroughly and follow an Individualized Education Plan and organize and manage a work setting to efficiently accomplish tasks. Assist teachers in the supervision of students, prepare materials, attend meetings, follow proper procedures and maintain confidentiality.

Riverview

Riverview is now hiring for a secondary science teacher with certification in chemistry and general science.

The position is available immediately through Dec. 20, 2013.
