Plum School Director Takes Heat For Anti-Muslim Facebook Post

The post was critical of Muslims serving in Congress.

PLUM, PA - A Plum School District director is being admonished for anti-Muslim sentiments posted on his personal Facebook page.

The post, since taken down, is a meme showing a man standing in front of an American flag holding a rifle. The caption states “Does it worry anybody that we have devout Muslims in Congress that have unlimited access to our top secret government documents?”

The post is an apparent reference to newly elected congresswomen Rashida Talib of Michigan and Tilhan Omar of Minnesota.

“This District is not affiliated with this posting in any way,” a district release stated. “We vigorously disagree with and condemn the content of the post, and we do so in the strongest possible terms.”
