Plum School District Advanced Placement Numbers Increasing
Advanced Placement program in Plum School District expanding.

The number of participating students, course offerings and test scores in the Plum School District’s Advanced Placement program continue to increase.
The Plum School District has been named to the AP District Honor Roll four of the last five years, with 2011 being the outlier, Principal Ryan Kociela said to TribLive.com. The AP District Honor Roll was created five years ago and recognizes schools that show increases in participating students and AP course offerings, and also recognizes which schools earn scores of 3 or higher. Scores range from 1 to 5 on advanced placement exams, with 1 being the lowest score and 5 being the highest.
Plum School District is one of 547 school districts in the United States and Canada to receive the honor roll distinction, TribLive.com reports. Plum High School has 17 AP course offerings and plans on adding AP Physics II at the start of the 2015-16 school year, according to Principal Kociela.
