Riverview School Year Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Riverview is August 21. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Riverview School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 10/29: No School (Clerical Day 2)

November

• 11/6: No School for Students (Parent Conferences, Act 80)
• 11/7: No School for Students (Professional Development ay 3)
• 11/22 - 11/27: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/25 - 1/1: No School (Holiday Break)

January

• 1/12: Oakmont Verona Give Back Day Reflections
• 1/15: No School (Clerical Day 3)
• 1/16: No School for Students (Professional Development Day 4)

February

• 2/19: No School (Presidents' Day)
• 2/20: No School for Students (Professional Development Day 4)
