Steve’s Inn Gets Knocked Over in Oakmont

There was nothing but rubble left Monday after workers finished leveling Steve’s Inn on Allegheny Avenue in Oakmont.

The longtime bar, which has been owned by Steve Yohler since 1975, is under new ownership. According to Allegheny County property records, Sibro Enterprises, LP of Oakmont bought the property on Aug. 7 for $150,000.

What will happen next for the property is still unclear. The new owners have not yet come before the Oakmont Planning Commission.
