Vacation Bible School services offer entertainment and religious education for young children.
Churches in the Oakmont, Plum and Verona areas will be holding different programs with special themes through out the rest of the summer.
The bible camps are a way for kids to make new friends and get out and about for a night or two.

The church will hold a two day program with the theme of “Incrediworld Amazement World” starting on June 29 at 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration is free and the event is for children ages 3 to 6th grade.
Kids will enjoy a free lunch and snacks as well as hands on activities.

The church will have VBS on July 23 to the 27 from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m.
At this “Sky: Everything is possible with God” themed program children will participate in science experiments, music and arts and crafts. The church does caution the children to come dressed in play clothes because they could get messy.
Registration is free and can be done at the church or over the phone.

The church will hold vacation bible school on July 9 to 13.

Bible camp for ages 4 to 6th grade will be held July 16, 17 and 19 at Oakmont Presbyterian from 5 to 8 p.m. The theme for this free camp is “Eyes Wide Open.”
On July 18 kids ages kindergarten to 6th grade will have bible camp at the Crestfield Camp in Slippery Rock.
Dinner will be provided each evening for the children as well as games, music and bible lessons.

The church will hold an “Incrediworld Amazement Park” themed bible school on July 30 through Aug. 3 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. This program is free and geared for children age 3 to 5th grade. Call 412-828-9499 to register.
The church will hold VBS on Aug. 6 to 10 at their location at 200 Elicker Road.
