Yard Waste Containers are only meant for yard waste. The arms on the trucks that pick up the bins are only meant to lift approximately 400lbs. We are asking you to only put leaves, grass clippings, small branches in your bin. Larger pieces should be bundled and placed beside your container. You can purchase additional bins through the Borough Office ($48.00) or you can bag any additional yard waste that you may have.

DO NOT add water to your container to push the materials down or pack it in so tight that they are too heavy for the trucks to properly lift them. Be sure to store your container with the lid closed so that water does not collect inside of the bin.
