See the latest announcement from Colonial School District.

2021-07-02

Recently the state passed legislation (formerly Senate Bill 664, now Act 66 of 2021) allowing families to request that their child be retained for a year due to learning gaps caused by the pandemic. Parents/guardians of all students may elect to have their child(ren) repeat the grade level they were in last year. Parents/guardians of students with disabilities who either turned 21 during the 2020-21 school year or will turn 21 this summer may also request an additional year. The legislation also allows students who are 18 to request retention.
