Montco Interstate 76 Eastbound Lane Closures Now Through July 16
Travel on eastbound 76 in West Conshohocken and Lower Merion will be reduced to one lane overnight between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. for road work.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Drivers who commute along Interstate 76 will encounter a single lane closure in the eastbound direction now through July 16 during the overnight hours while workers remove barriers as part of a project to stabilize the existing rock slope along a section of the two-lane roadway.
The lane closure will occur between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says the project is designed to help prevent future rockslides and reduce rock hazards for motorists.

The lane closure will be between the Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) and Belmont Avenue interchanges in West Conshohocken Borough and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are reminded to leave extra travel time as they will likely encounter traffic delays due to the road work.
