The Colonial Middle School Musical Theater Program is proud to present Disney's Beauty and the Beast JR. as a livestream available to anyone with access to the Internet.

The lead actors wore face shields and all others wore face masks during the recording. Here are LeFou, Gaston and Belle, portrayed by CMS students Luke Jones, Chase Welliver, and Katie Abai.

The show airs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 7 and Saturday, May 8, with a matinee on May 9 at 3 p.m.

Based on the original Broadway production and the Academy Award-winning motion picture, Disney's Beauty and the Beast JR. is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance. The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
