CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and findgoing on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening around the area so you can start planning now.
Here's what's in store this year in Conshohocken:
Fireworks will take place on July 3, not July 4. The celebration is focused on Sutcliffe Park, where things get started at around 6 p.m.

There will be live entertainment, food, drinks, games, and more family fun. Bounce houses will be set up on the fields, and a live martial arts demonstration will take place at 7:30 p.m.
Fireworks will go off at about 9:45 p.m.

Street closures will be in place starting at 6 p.m. on the following roads:
- W 7th Avenue and Wood Street
- W 9th Avenue and Maple Street
- W 9th Avenue and Forrest Street
- There will be no westbound traffic on W 9th Avenue
- W 10th Avenue and Freedly Street
- W 10th and Wood Street
- Alley at the 200 block of W 10th Avenue
- Sutcliffe Drive
The annual Soapbox Derby is on July 4.
