Dr. Bruce W. Raffensperger, Formerly of Fort Washington
Raffensperger was a retired OB/GYN doctor at Chestnut Hill Hospital.

Dr. Bruce W. Raffensperger, of Spring House Estates, formerly of Fort Washington, died Sunday, Dec. 15. He was 91.
Born in Arendtsville, he was a son of the late William and Helen Eicholtz Raffensperger.
Raffensperger was a retired OB/GYN doctor.

Dr. Raffensperger was a graduate of Gettysburg College and received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. He went on to practice OB/GYN at Chestnut Hill Hospital for over 40 years.Â
He also was a veteran of World War II, serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army.Â

Raffensperger is survived by his wife Charlotte (Flanders); four daughters, Nancy Raffensperger Aikins, Kim Eihorn, Tina Raffensperger and Linda Raffensperger; two sons, Curt Raffensperger and Neil Raffensperger; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held yesterday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Ambler; interment was private.
