Several Local Runners Are Safe in Boston

More than 15 local residents ran in the marathon Monday when two bombs detonated at the Boston Marathon finish line.

 

At least two were killed and roughly 100 were injured when two bombs detonated at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Boylston Street on Monday.

Of the residents in Plymouth, Whitemarsh and Conshohocken running in the race, several have been confirmed to be safe.

Montgomery Township Police Officer Dan Rose, who was running the Boston marathon in honor of fallen officer Brad Fox, is confirmed safe.
