Heavy plumes of black smoke could be seen coming from the complex from a distance, and flames appeared to be going through the roof.

The fire was largely extinguished by early afternoon but it appeared that large sections of the structure had been completely decimated.

The Red Paw Emergency Relief Team said they were assisting with food, supplies, and pet hotel fees for impacted animals.
