Flooding Shuts Down North Wales Road, Others In East Norriton
Police are urging residents to not drive around barriers. "Please do not think your vehicle can handle the water."
EAST NORRITON, PA — Multiple roads have been shut down in East Norriton due to the ongoing rainstorm causing flooding Tuesday morning, officials said.
North Wales Road is shut down between Norriton Drive and Springhouse Lane, police said.
In addition, Potshop Road is closed between Truman Road and Schultz Road.

Authorities urged residents to obey the posted signs and not to drive around the barriers that have been put up on the road.
"Please do not think your vehicle can handle the water," police said in an announcement.

Crews in East Norriton are also responding to reports of manholes being uncovered by flooding. If you see any hazards, call 911 immediately.
Montgomery County is under a flash flood watch through midnight, and a tornado watch through 4 p.m.
