Fox Hockey Teammates, Others Attend Charity Dinner
The dinner saw the debut of two specially-crafted beers in honor of fallen officer Brad Fox.
Pescatore's Restaurant in Glen Mills wsa the location of a benefit dinner on Thursday April 4 that supported the Fox Childrens' Fund, the foundation set up to help provide for the family of fallen Plymouth Township police officer Brad Fox.Â
Pescatore's manager Dennis Glick, a friend and fellow player on the Slugs hockey team, organized the dinner.Â
Glick was also responsible for contacting Long Trail Brewery, a Vermont-based craft brewer, and asking them to create a special beer in honor of Fox.Â

Long Trail brewed SlugFest, an amber ale. Proceeds from any bottles sold benefit the Fox family.Â
Addtionally, Maryland-based Evolution Brewing created the first in a series of special beers for the event. Their beer, Incubator 1, will also be sold to benefit the Fox family.

The event was well-attended by friends and fellow Slugs hockey players, as well as many people who just wanted to support the family.Â
Prominently displayed in the resturant was Fox' Slugs jersey.
"That jersey goes everywhere with us," Glick said.
