Major Accident Near Conshohocken Backs Up I-76 Tuesday

I-76 was backed up for hours early Tuesday after a significant accident near Conshohocken.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A crash on the Schuylkill Expressway early Tuesday led to hours of delays in Montgomery County, officials said.

The incident occurred in the eastbound lanes at around 8:30 p.m. between the Belmont Avenue and Conshohocken curve, according to PennDOT.

Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash.

That stretch of road remained stop and go shortly before noon.

It's not yet clear if there were any injuries.
