One local co-op is taking a unique new approach to fighting hunger in Montgomery County.

AMBLER, PA — Community nonprofit and local grocer Weaver's Way is taking a unique new approach to fight hunger in Montgomery County.
The co-op is partnering with Germantown Academy to open a "community fridge" in front of their E. Butler Avenue storefront.
"The community fridge will be open 24/7 to assist those in the area dealing with food insecurity or facing additional barriers during regular store operating hours," organizers said.
