Montco Teen Named Player Of The Week By US Lacrosse
Local lacrosse star Darcy Felter got some well-earned national recognition this week.

WYNDMOOR, PA — A local lacrosse star is getting some much deserved national recognition.
Wyndmoor resident and William Penn Charter junior Darcy Felter has been named player of the week for the mid-Atlantic region by US Lacrosse.

"The junior UNC commit had four goals, one assist, one ground ball and five draw controls in an 11-10 overtime win over Agnes Irwin (Pa.) on Wednesday, then added five goals, two assists and five draw controls in a 17-7 win over Manheim Central (Pa.). The wins helped Penn Charter improve to 4-0 going into a huge week with games against Springside Chestnut Hill (Pa.) on Tuesday, Notre Dame (Pa.) on Friday and No. 4 Conestoga on Saturday."
Felter helps lead an undefeated Penn Charter team, coached by Colleen Magarity Kelly, that is ranked second in the region and 19th in the nation.
