PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — Plymouth Meeting Mall's newest anchor tenants are now open for business, and there are more on the way.

This past weekend saw the opening of both Dick's Sporting Goods and Burlington, two of the major stores that are taking up some of the space vacated by the Macy's closure that reshaped the direction of the mall two years ago.

They will be followed next week by the area's newest bar and restaurant, Miller's Ale House.

Preit, the mall's owner, says that having a diversity of options is helping to make Plymouth Meeting Mall a destination.

“Plymouth Meeting Mall sets the standard for the new era of mall experiences that are sweeping the industry," Joseph F. Coradino, the CEO of Preit, said in a statement. "Having integrated entertainment, dining, grocery and fitness segment within our portfolio, we’re driving new customers to the mall regularly."

Red Rose Spa also recently opened its doors, expanding the health and wellness offerings in the mall, which already include Restore Hyperwellness and Cryotherapy and Sola Salon.

These new additions are on top of the existing base of the mall, including Whole Foods, Legoland, a renovated AMC theater, Dave and Buster's, and more.

In celebration of the expansion, a Fall Harvest Fest event will take place on Oct. 11 to Oct. 13, featuring a variety of crafts, games, music, balloon twisting, and other family activities.
