New Burlington Store Opens In Plymouth Meeting Mall

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — Plymouth Meeting Mall's expansion continues this week as Burlington Stores opens up its newest location.

Burlington's grand opening is set for Friday, Sept. 20.

The 41,833-square-foot store is one of multiple businesses opening up inside the former Macy's. The Plymouth Meeting Macy's was one of 68 that shut down back in July 2017.

"We are thrilled to open a new Burlington in Plymouth Meeting," Tom Kingsbury, CEO and Chairman of Burlington Stores said in a statement. "This new location brings jobs to the community, and provides a great shopping experience for the entire family. Whether they’re looking for brand-name clothing, stylish home décor items, or anything for baby, customers will enjoy significant savings and discover new merchandise arrivals each week."

Dick's Sporting Goods and Edge Fitness are also moving into the former Macy's space.

A ceremonial ribbon cutting is set for 8:45 a.m., while residents are invited to be among the first to shop in the store at 9 a.m. The first 500 customers will receive a free Burlington tote.
