New Photo Released Of Women Who Vandalized Brad Fox Memorial: PD

Authorities published a clearer image of the two women who they say vandalized a Montgomery County memorial to the fallen officer.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Montgomery County have issued an updated photo of two women who they vandalized a memorial to a fallen officer last weekend.

The women were on bikes when they stopped at the memorial to Officer Brad Fox, located along the Schuylkill River Trail in Plymouth Township between Norristown and Conshohocken.

The incident occurred at 3:24 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26. Security footage captured one of the women standing as a lookout while the other climbed up onto the memorial and removed a Thin Blue Line American flag. She then threw it into the bushes nearby, footage shows.

Initial images from the footage were blurrier, and on Friday, police released an updated and new photo of the women cycling on the trail.

Fox was killed in the line of duty in 2012 while pursuing a hit and run suspect near the Schuylkill River Trail.

"The female suspects stopped with the sole and express purpose of desecrating the memory of, and the memorial to, Officer Brad Fox," police said in a statement last week.
