Plymouth Meeting's Medical Marijuana Dispensary Opens Its Doors
It's among the first few medical marijuana facilities to open in Montgomery County.

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — Montgomery County's second medical marijuana dispensary has officially opened its doors.
Ilera Healthcare's Plymouth operation will be the 11th dispensary to begin operations in Pennsylvania, and among the first in Montgomery County, according to the state. Three more locations around Pennsylvania have already been approved.
The new dispensary is located on 420 Plymouth Road.

"Our team has developed products that will provide relief to patients. Ilera Healthcare's goal is to provide marijuana-based medicines that address not just the conditions related to an individual's disease state, but to also develop products that match a patient's lifestyle," said Greg Rochlin, CEO, Ilera Healthcare. "We are committed to producing a continuous supply of the highest quality products so that our dispensary and our partner dispensaries across Pennsylvania can meet patients' needs for medical marijuana."
Patients who want to access medical marijuana must obtain a physician's certification from an approved doctor proving that they suffer from one of 21 serious medical conditions. A registration process is then required for patients to receive a medical marijuana card, allowing them access to state-licensed dispensaries.

The Plymouth dispensary joins several others in the Philadelphia area presently open: there is one in Phoenixville, one in Devon, one in Sellersville, and one in Abington.
Ilera will offer six product lines that each correlate to a patient's individual needs, according to the company. They include Soothe (pain relief), Shine (energy and focus), Breathe (calm), Dream (sleep assistance), Fusion, and Choice.
Ilera is open from Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
According to the state, more than 16,600 patients have registered to participate in the medical marijuana program, and more than 3,800 of them have already been certified by a physician.
The state's medical marijuana program was signed into law in April 2016. Full implementation of the medical marijuana program, including the approval of more locations to sell to patients, is expected at some point in 2018.
