Plymouth Township Presents 2013 Performances in the Park

The Parks and Receration Department of Plymouth Township is gearing up for another family-friendly season of its Performances in the Park series.

The summer series takes place on Wednesdays from June 12 - Aug. 21, and features a variety of concerts and movies. Each event will take place at the Community Center Park, located behind the Greater Plymouth Community Center.

The schedule of Performances in the Park goes as follows:

• June 12 - Concert: RockaFilly, from 7 - 9 p.m.

• June 19 - Movie: "Monsters, Inc.," begins at dusk.

• June 26 - Concert: Boogie Dog, from 7 - 9 p.m.

• July 3 - Movie: "Despicable Me," begins at dusk.

• July 10 - Concert: Almost FAB!, from 7 - 9 p.m.

• July 17 - Movie: "Brave," begins at dusk

• July 24 - Concert: The Other Brothers, from 7 - 9 p.m.

• July 31 - Movie: "The Lorax," begins at dusk

• Aug. 1 - Special Performance: 78th Army Band, from 7 - 9 p.m.

Families are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs. In case of inclement weather, the event will take place inside the GPCC at 7:30 p.m. and concerts will be rescheduled.
