Plymouth Township Tree Lighting Set for Nov. 28

The event features a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus

Plymouth Township’s parks and recreation department invites the community to bring plenty of holiday cheer to the township’s second annual holiday tree lighting on Nov. 28.

Township Manager Karen Weiss said smiles (and cameras) come in handy in creating a “human snow globe” with the giant inflatable snow globe that’s a new addition for this year’s event. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be on hand to help spread holiday cheer.

A mini concert will be provided by two local school bands and choirs. Entertainment, as well as hot chocolate and cookies, will be offered free of charge.
