Michael Upshur Jr., who was living in a third floor apartment there, was seen by other residents hurling furniture out of his window, police said.
He then took a gun, a Smith and Wesson that had been stolen during a Conshohocken robbery in 2013, and fired 14 shots out of the apartment towards the parking lot, Plymouth Road, and the nearby Pennsylvania Turnpike, according to authorities.

It remains unclear why Upshur fired the shots or was endeavoring to destroy his apartment.
An investigation revealed that Upshur was using a stolen identity to rent the apartment, which he moved into in June 2020, police said.
Upshur was taken into custody shortly following the apartment destruction and gunshots, and police said there is no threat to the public.
He has been charged with receiving stolen property, identity theft, recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, and multiple felony firearms charges.
Whitemarsh and Conshohocken Police assisted Plymouth Township Police in their investigation.
